what are the side effects of taking to many psychological drugs?
I’m on prozac, cymbalta, seroquel and klonopin I wondering if I’m on to much
Taking Seroquel & having these side effects?
I am taking 200 mg of Seroquel and from 4 to 6 mg of Klonopin a day. The Seroquel is the only thing that has completely knocked me out so that i could actually sleep and it’s SUPPOSED to control my mania and mood swings…..well now I am so depressed…I even feel suicidal at times. It made me feel better at first but since I was still manic I had to take a higher dosage & ever since I find myself MORE irritable because I am so tired in the morning that all I want to do is be left alone so I can sleep. I have told the psychiatrist this and he says”I don’t want to make any changes right now”. Meanwhile I have 2 kids to take care of & everything else I have to do on top of that. BTW, I have taken this drug before but a lesser dose, but then found out I was pregnant….My legs hurt everyday & I feel so weak. Anyone else go through this?
yes the dry mouth thing…fun! Anorgasmia? I’m assuming that means you can’t have one? No, I still can but honestly it has also affected my sex drive. I think this may actually be the longest time hubby and I have gone without having actual intercourse.
Yes I know it’s the seroquel for sure. I have been on Klonopin on and off for quite a while.
Have you experienced anorgasmia yet?
Dry Mouth?
I started taking that crap last night, and yeah I think I know what you’re going through, tonight I’m supposed to be gettn togetha w/ my girlfriend….and I don’t think I’m gonna be able to explain it to her…sucks
Seroquel and Klonopin?
This week my doctor perscribed me Klonopin. I used seroquel before for anxiety attacks but wanted to switch because I didnt like the side effects. I took a klonopin 5 hours ago for anxiety and i never noticed any effect. So obviously I need dosages adjusted with it or something. But I dont want ot take a larger dose without first talking to the doctor because it is an addictive drug and i want to be careful with it. But I still feel like crap right now and have no way of contacting the doctor so I was wondering if I take a seroquel is there a risk of it reacting badly with the klonopin in my system? cuz i need something that works and i know the seroquel works.
i took it
and to people who say seroquel shouldnt be perscribes for anxiety
it is perscribed off label for anxiety all the time. It’s also used off label for sleep. Just because it was originially intended as an anti psychotic doesnt mean that it shouldnt be perscribed off label for other things if it works
I used to be on clonazepam(klonopin) and seroquel together. Clonazepam for anxiety and Seroquel as an antipsychotic and I never had any issues with it. The worst that can happen if you take them together i think is that you will just notice a bit more sedation from the seroquel. But it sounds like thats what you need in your case i am guessing. I am no doctor but i am just saying from my experience that I was prescribed the both of those together and there were no negative effects. Good luck. ps u can email me at limousineorama@yahoo.com.au if you need
seroquel and klonopin?
Im twenty years old. I got diagnosed with schizoaffective with bipolar. I gotta start taking them ….what should i expect? as far as side effects..moods…and all that good stuff>
I’m taking seroquel, and it makes me drowsy. It helps me to fall asleep, but it’s also harder to wake up in the morning because I feel kinda numb. They say that feeling will eventually disappear, but to be honest I’ve never taken it long enough to know if it does! (I start and stop without telling my doctor, which of course I don’t recommend, but oh well.)
